Time for a new Art Jam...

This is something that's clearly out of our normal jams that we do but will be intresting nonetheless. I came up with this theme from listening Q Lazzarus - Goodbye Horses. The first time I heard it was on the Clerks2 movie, which by the way is a top movie and you should all go out and check it at the cinemas. Anyways while going around searching the net on the artist I stumble upon a wiki site that had information on the song title Goodbye Horses .

In an Eastern philosophy "horses" are symbolic/representative of the 5 senses - the things that keep us tied to the physical/material plane of existence. When one can transcend the limitations of these senses and achieve a higher level of consciousness, he or she is leaving the "horses" behind - "flying over them." The song is about someone who was so affected (by a possible loss or breakup) that he or she decided to give up the things that kept him or her tied to this world by emotion.

As I was reading the site I found the meaning behind the song's title and thought to myself 'hey wouldn't it be cool to do a collection of artworks based on this theme’. But knowing me and how I always get lazy I never finish anything unless it's a collaborative art jam. hehe

So there you have it people the theme for this artjam will be based on the meaning behind the song 'Goodbye Horses'. This jam goes for 3 wks with an art piece each week allowing us to have a collection of the theme. The jam will start tomorrow people...

World’s Finest

Probably the best Fan Film i have ever seen... I love how he did Superman; this is what he supposed to look like big, cut, and with no crappy coloured suit. Unlike Singers version which just looks like a skinny lanky guy in a crappy Superman outfit. (I'm sorry to disappoint you Supes fans but if thought Returns was shyte and in my opinion Singer should have stuck with doing X-men3 and Ratner should have done Superman Returns)

Whoever did this fan film? I bow to you
